Creating a plot can sound intimidating for kids. Show them how easy it is with this super easy formula.
How to use the worksheet
The worksheet is based on our Super Easy Storytelling Formula. (See our simple guide on creating a plot the easy way.) Explain that a plot is basically the main character wanting something (the WHAT) and an obstacle to getting it (the WHY NOT). Children can write in their own ideas, or use this worksheet along with the creative writing prompts printable to help ideas bloom. (Teachers, try our free writing lesson plan.)
